Job Summary This role defines, designs, and communicates the overarching implementation processes for the CentralSquare Community Development applications by to form a best-in-class turnkey information management solutions for all sizes of municipal and state public sector organizations. This role also provides guidance and direction for all upgrades, additions and for legacy products and current deployments. This role works with sales teams to capture customer implementation requirements from sales activities -- predominantly through a competitive bid or RFP process; understanding and defining the processes and approaches to addressing these requirements; and document the vision of how the unique requirements of each client and the stakeholders can best be satisfied using available CentralSquare products and services complemented by the partner and third-party products and services. This role fulfills a vital role as the source for addressing all client-facing implementation needs. This role is also the primary liaison and conduit between the customer/sales/services teams and all other business units involved in the planning, design, development, deployment, pricing, and support of CentralSquare Solutions. This role provides Community Development implementation and services guidance to sales within the company as well as with existing and prospective clients. This role is internal and client-facing role which requires Public Administration industry knowledge. Clients may also sometimes have strong preferences or biases toward certain technologies, manufacturers, strategies, and methods. This role needs to be prepared and capable of responding to implementation questions of all types of situations. Job Duties Include: •Works collaboratively with Regional Account Executives, Regional Account Managers, Sales Directors, Contract Capture Managers, Client Success Managers, Product Specialists, Proposal Managers, Pricing Managers and various product management groups within the company to define the technical/architectural aspects of each CentralSquare Solutions to ensure quality and accuracy and to document those Solutions in proposals to clients and prospective clients. •Act as a consultant defining the implementation processes for the Community Development applications and convey simply the vision for ways to integrate with other third-party technologies and/or interfaces presented via proposal. •Supports the time sensitive Contract Capture process by working with the prospective client to solidify interfaces, solidify third-parties, solidify hardware and network to support the systems and be a resource to the Contract Capture manager to provide written and verbal responses to technical questions. Experience with Sales, Pre-Sales or Field work on 911 telephony systems at Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). Experience working with telephony carriers. Experience creating system and network architecture diagrams. Experience developing and/or updating detailed Scope of Work (SOW) documents. Experience developing and/or updating project plans using Microsoft Project. Identify, document and communicate risks to new implementations of CentralSquare’s Community Development solution in handoff’s to Project Management and Professional Services. Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a fast paced, pressure environment. •Ability to articulate the “big picture” and demonstrate flexibility in all aspects of the position. •Ability to gain proficiently quickly in Salesforce, Microsoft Office to include Visio, RFPIO (RFP authoring program) and various collaboration platforms such as Teams and others. •Develop presentations for demonstrations. •Participate in Contract Capture process. •Participate in Client and internal strategy calls. •Respond to Sales Requests in SalesForce. •Performs all other duties as assigned. Skills & Requirements Requirements: •Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. •Previous experience with pre-sales engineering with Public Safety is required. •Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner appropriate to an audience including executive levels. •Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements •Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public. •Strong knowledge of using advanced audio-visual tools and methods to showcase products in the most compelling manner. •Familiar with SalesForce •Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Visio •Messaging / Social: Yammer, Teams, and others •RFPIO – online RFP proposal tool (experience desirable) •Must be able to maintain a home office including internet (sufficient for IP telephone communications) •25% or less travel is required
