TechnologyWorks with the business and technology to understand business requirements and define the Cloud solution architecture required to translate business requirements into workable Cloud solutions. Evaluates the architecture of a Cloud solution to understand how technical decisions may impact business outcomes and recommends Cloud solutions / technologies that align with business requirements. Documents cloud architectures and determines relevant cloud services. Prepares cloud computing designs, and virtual networks, including service-level agreements, and evaluates the readiness of current IT systems for cloud deployment.
Designs and oversees cloud technologies that meet business needs.Architects scalable, high availability application solutions that leverage the cloud platform and infrastructure. Architects and develops applications to be cloud optimized.Applies software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming.Creates technical design recommendations aligned to standards for the development and integration of new software and system technologies, from the physical layer through the virtual layer.Helps the enteprise move from premises monoliths to cloud based, event driven microservices capable of scaling.Delivers innovative solutions, tailored to the specific needs of the organization. Conceives and creates infrastructure security elements such as secure data storage, just-in-time solutions and security surveillance.Participates in the evaluation of the environment and the needs of the organization; Develops, tests, and evaluates cloud-based systems.Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.Implements changes in response to shifting trends.Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.Qualifications:
Infrastructure development.Software development.Virtualization and virtual machines.Systems Thinking.Define use cases on cloud.Cloud computing.Cloud privacy.Verbal & written communication skills.Analytical and problem solving skills.Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration.Able to manage ambiguity.Data driven decision making.Typically 10+ years of work experience in IT and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.Must have experience in Application solution architecture (5 to 7 years) Cloud concepts, various full stack technology and microservice architecture, Development background, Banking experience in payments domain.Nice to Have: AWS Certification, Specific experience with TCH, Real time payment or Zelle.Salary:
$92,400.00 - $171,600.00Pay Type:

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
