$164,900.00 - $274,800.00

**Job Title:** Solution Architect/ Technical Presales
**Location** : Philadelphia, PA or San Leandro-CA – Hybrid

**Role:**
The CONNECT Solution Consultant will be responsible for providing critical solution, technical, and industry knowledge to help support, generate and develop new and existing sales opportunities with focus on the CONNECT Platform. Priority will be on supporting new CONNECT data services, visualization and AVEVA Advanced Analytics use cases for existing, and new industrial customers. You will deliver value to our customers, secure CONNECT revenue growth for new customers and growing PIDI customer’s CONNECT consumption and grow AVEVA customer trust. You will develop an understanding of Partner Cloud applications as they are additional drivers of CONNECT subscriptions and consumption.
CONNECT Solution Consultant is an integral and highly visible member of the team. He/she will be a key contributor to the growth of the business, providing outstanding consultancy, and technical support. Primarily working with the regional Sales teams, the position also requires close interaction with product management, product development, lighthouse, and marketing, as well as the customer success teams.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
+ Enable CONNECT growth by qualifying leads to increase revenue.
+ Deliver story-driven demonstrations that convey the broad scope of the CONNECTplatform, including new and related emerging technologies.
+ Contributing to the planning, creation, development, and delivery of demonstrations that prove and confirm the value of our solutions.
+ Engage with prospects to understand specific needs/problems and lead/contribute to the development of appropriate technical solutions.
+ Conduct value consulting workshops and proofs of value with partners and customers.
+ Build customer relationships and business plans to create opportunities and improve product sales.
+ Support customer queries on product selection and capability.
+ Work with partners, system integrators, and third-party vendors for complex solutions.
+ Collect customer feedback for product enhancement
+ Build and maintain trust with AVEVA customer facing staff, being the dedicated go-to person for AVEVA CONNECT data services, visualization and Advanced Analytics related use case and technology questions.
+ Influence the team through peer support and mentoring and by proposing novel approaches that will positively impact the way that the team operates
+ Be the Trusted Advisor to our customers on the CONNECT Platform.

**Skills and** **Qualifications** **:**
+ Proficiency in English (required)
+ University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering related disciplines.
+ At least 5 years of experience in solution selling, business development, and/or a customer value creation role.
+ Over 10 years of industry experience in essential sectors, such as power generation and utilities, water, oil and gas, mining, metals, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, facilities, transportation, and/or food and beverage.
+ Knowledge and experience working with operations information data management software, asset reliability management software, and/or plant operational data, e.g., AVEVA PI System, CONNECT Data Services, or its equivalent.
+ Strong information technology skills with deep software and hardware knowledge.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the needs and problems of prospective customers.
+ Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple and possibly competing commitments at the same time.
+ Excellent and proven customer-facing and presentation skills for complex technical solutions.
+ Ability to translate technical topics and solutions in simple language to a variety of audiences.
+ Enthusiasm and interest in technology and in sharing knowledge.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ The ability to work alone or with development staff to develop and present demo applications.
+ Ability to travel, up to 50%
**Preferred Skills and Collaborations:**
+ Experience working in a Presales or Sales role with an understanding of the sales process is a plus.
+ Experience working with CONNECT Platform is preferred.
+ Experience working with larger AVEVA portfolio of solutions.
+ Prospects: Develop good working relationships with clients, while consistently providing the highest level of customer service and professionalism
+ Sales: Work with the Sales team in identifying opportunities, providing support at all levels of engagement, and ensuring throughout that those proposed solutions are feasible and in line with AVEVA’s strategic objectives
+ Technical: Work within a dynamic team and show flexibility in the use and development of personal and technical skills to maximize the team’s efficiency

**Hybrid working**
