Job Description The Solutions Architect is responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and designing solutions that meet customer needs. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams, understanding customer requirements, and translating those into effective technical solutions that align with the company's product and service offerings. The Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in the sales process by ensuring that proposed solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and competitive in the marketplace.

Analyze customer’s business requirements and pain points, and provide options to deliver appropriate technology solutions.

Identify opportunities, understand business problems, and translate them into technical solutions. 

Provide solution design and configurations best practices to customers. Articulate the advantage of Globe's solutions against competition. 

Participate in the development and support of content for customers and partners. 

Stay up to date on technologies trends, in the field of application architecture, micro services, cloud application delivery, next generation virtualization, and virtual runtime technologies.

Performs customer network review and recommends network performance improvement by maximizing resources that will result to cost savings to the company 

Interface and discuss with business influencers and decision makers about topics relevant to the industry and the customers’ business, with the objective of helping the customer on their business requirements.

Recommends technical solutions for simple to complex core data and voice requirements based on existing standards and best practices.

Influence customer TOR by suggesting and recommending appropriate technology and product offering of the company that best suit to customer requirements 

Collaborate with other groups and external technology partners in developing strategies to provide turn-key solutions, increase network coverage, and further improve customer network performance and internal SLAs.

Provide technical solution and response to bids, request for Information, or request for proposal.

Technical resource for proof of concept projects requested by strategic partners and customers.

Help generate a number of opportunities for new sales revenue

Provides solution summary documents to internal teams in support of smooth delivery of customer circuits or implementation of projects.

Submits a documented customer network consulting recommendation to internal and external customers as an input to business reviews.

Timely submission of complete and accurate reports, project updates, and other required documentations.

Assist in the development of cost estimates and bill of materials especially for complex proposed solutions, ensuring that they are competitive while meeting profitability targets.

Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate pricing and cost considerations in proposals.

Work Experience:

3-5 years of relevant work  experience in a technical role, such as network engineering, systems engineering, or IT support, is required. Experience in a presales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role is highly preferred.

Experience in the telecommunications, IT, or related industries is often required, especially for roles involving specific technologies or market segments.


 

Level of Knowledge

Strong understanding of networking technologies , telecommunication systems, cloud computing, and relevant industry-specific technologies. 

Proven experience in designing technical solutions that meet customer requirement and align with industry standards.

Familiarity with the company's products and services, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience in delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, stakeholders, and internal teams. 

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively. 

Preferably with the following certifications:

Licensed ECE or equivalent

With appropriate associate to advanced-level certifications from Industry recognized technology vendors or institutions. (i.e. Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, MEF, SDN, Cloud, etc.)
