We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect I- Partner located in the Midwest area to join our Partner Solutions Architect team, reporting to the manager of Solution Architecture – Partners. In this role, you will work closely with our world-class partners to overcome and remove all technical barriers in the sales process. You will be a trusted technical advisor and help the Channel team and partners develop new business by working directly with partners, effectively positioning Infoblox solutions.

What you’ll do:  

Build business cases and technical differentiation with partners about Infoblox solutions and their integration partnersDevelop pre-sales Engineering content, including presentations, demos, and webinars on Infoblox solutions for partner audiencesAssist partners in designing solutions and architectural diagrams that convey proposed Infoblox solutions, how they will be engineered, and how they will integrate with other vendorsEducate Partner Technical Sales teams about Infoblox solutions and technologies and when/how they can identify opportunities and position Infoblox solutions to customersWork closely with your partner account managers and support the rest of the team in your areas of core competencyEvaluate and identify new opportunities within existing accounts to expand with more Infoblox solutions

What you'll bring:

3+ years of experience supporting partner technical sales or 5+ years of experience in engineering or operations networking3+ years of experience in networking technologies, including intranet/internet/extranet environments and similar for security technologiesExperience in Cloud/security space with working knowledge of design and implementation for at least one of the following: AWS, Azure, VMWare, Kubernetes, or HBSS, Nextgen Firewalls, TIPS, IPS/IDS, or DevOpsConscientious attitude and dependability, self-starter, ability to work independently while appreciating teamwork and communicationDDI—DNS/DHCP/IPAM experienceCCSP, CISSP, CASP+, CySA+ CEH technical certifications and experience with APIs is a plusExcellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology simplyGood understanding of pre/post-sales business and profitability models within partnersAbility to work in the field frequently; travel is requiredBachelor's degree required 

What success looks like: 

After six months, you will…

Have a foundational knowledge of our entire product/solution portfolioDemonstrate fluency with either on-prem or SaaS-based Infoblox solutionsIdentify 1-2 specialization areasBe capable of handling primary SA customer-facing tasks with only occasional help from others

After about a year, you will…

Demonstrate fluency with all Infoblox solutionsBe capable of handling advanced SA customer-facing tasks with only occasional help from othersAble to conduct demos with little to no supervisionAct as the go-to person for the specialization area for your assigned region
