Pay: $140,000/year

Delivers services across all phases of the software development lifecycle. This role involves developing and supporting both client-facing and internal projects as well as collaborate with a team of developers using a variety of technologies for our clients.

Key Competencies

Hands on experience in Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patternsHands on experience in designing and developing applications using .NET 3.5/4 development using C# and ASP.NETCompetence in SQL ServerCompetence in Object Oriented design and development techniquesWorking knowledge in Entity Framework, MVCWorking knowledge in Microsoft WCF RIA servicesKnowledge in Unit testing using nUnit or similarCompetence in UML – Sequence diagrams, Class diagrams, etcWorking Knowledge in requirements analysis or business analysis techniquesWorking knowledge in CSS, Java scriptingExperience in REST web servicesExperience in Microsoft windows workflow foundationsExperience with test-driven developmentClient-focused, working independently and simultaneously across multiple projectsCapture and documentation of customer requirements and transformation into software design specifications / user storiesWrites structured well-documented code to deliver scalable software solutionsGood communication, able to write clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiencesTeam player with effective time managementStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to peer review and provide feedback on others workConsistently technically abreast of existing, new and emerging technologies to complement solutionsWilling to be flexible with shift work

Key Activities

Creating detailed technical design documentation & estimatesImplementing unit testsDevelop code as per the specifications and coding standardsEnsure all code passes unit testing with appropriate code coveragePeer reviews of other team members’ codeProvide feedback on process to refine where necessaryLiaise with Architects, Testers and any other project stakeholders both verbally and in writingTechnical support

Key Technologies

Experience in the following technologies is required:

Microsoft .NET 3.5/4C#ASP.NETVB .NETRelational Databases like MS SQL ServerWeb frameworks like MVCASP.NET Core and Web API

Experience in the following technologies is desirable:

Qualifications and Experience

Educated to degree level or higher in Computer Science or a related technology fieldMinimum 10 years’ experience in Microsoft .NET technologyExperience of the software development lifecycle and Agile development methodologiesExperience of providing client facing support is an advantage
