Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect in Seoul, Korea, who is passionate about helping our customers build infrastructures and applications at scale. AWS Solutions Architects are trusted advisors to our customers, helping them solve their most significant business challenges by designing and advising on some of the most scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions globally. Being a thought leader who creates and presents content, you will test traditional thinking by pushing the boundaries for your customers to dream and deliver beyond what they think is possible. You will have the opportunity to partner with customers early in their cloud journey and help them scale further, bringing visible and measurable impact to their growth ambitions in non-linear ways, using AWS as a building blocks.

Key job responsibilities
You will have a chance to influence architectural decisions to help customers adopt AWS cloud more reliably and securely while at the same time helping the customers realize tangible business value from cloud adoption. Most importantly, as a Trusted Advisor, you will provide customers with technical insight, a technology roadmap, and the right technical choices to transform IT in a rapidly changing environment. Our solutions architects build architectures and provide prescriptive guidance across Infrastructure, Application architecture, DevOps, Networking, Security, Container, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, Analytics, and AI/ML. Actually, he/she doesn't need to know them all very well, but when it comes to the area of expertise in his/her career, he/she should have in-depth knowledge and expertise.

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business needs, going beyond what they say and into what they need and developing new solutions that best match those needs.
• Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers and blogs, and running workshops both in Korean and English
• Deeply understand AWS platform and architectural best practices. Especially, develop unique technical capability, be it specialized knowledge in application architecture and DevOps, with a good understanding of Container, AI/ML, and Analytics, which are in high demand.
• As a builder, you’ll shape the direction of our products and services by gathering customer feedback while collaborating with our engineering and service teams.
• You will partner with Sales, Partners, Specialists, Service teams, and other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our services for Government, NPO, EdTech, University, and Healthcare industry domains.
• 고객과 협업하여 클라우드 여정을 가속화할 수 있도록 리드합니다. 분명하지 않은 요구사항을 제시 하더라도 실제 원하는 바를 잘 이해하여 장기적 목표 달성에 올바른 방향으로 솔루션을 제시합니다.
• Thought leader 로서 다양한 규모의 내/외부 행사 등에서 직접 만든 기술 자료를 발표하며 솔루션 데모, 기술 블로그, 기술백서, 팟 캐스트 또는 비디오 클립과 같은 기술 컨텐츠를 한국어 및 영어로 만들고 공유합니다.
• AWS 플랫폼과 다양한 모범사례들을 깊이 있게 이해할 뿐 아니라 적어도 하나 이상의 기술 또는 산업 영역에 대한 지식, 경험 등의 전문성을 바탕으로 고객과 AWS 직원들에게 기술적 도움을 제공합니다. 특히 이 포지션은 Application Architecture, DevOps부분의 전문성을 가지고 Container, AI/ML, 그리고 Analytics와 같이 고객 요구가 많은 서비스들과 integration을 지원합니다.
• 고객의 피드백에 기반하여AWS 서비스 팀의 제품 담당자에게 제품/서비스의 발전 방향에 대한 조언을 제공합니다.
• Government, NPO, EdTech, University, and Healthcare 와 같은 공공부분의 고객을 지원하기 위하여 Sales, Partners, Specialists, Service teams 등과 적극적으로 협력 합니다.
