A week in the life of a Solutions Architect: 

Lead the design and development of a comprehensive IT solution addressing business challenges, ensuring alignment with the customer’s strategic goals. Define and implement solution architecture. Serve as a technical leader providing guidance to the team. Facilitate collaboration across the teams to ensure that the IT solution is effectively implemented and supported.  Working alongside the chief architect in a team-oriented environment, developing, deploying, and troubleshooting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions  While this position has direct client interface, you will also be the leading SME developing our growing DevSecOps practice.  Implementing hybrid cloud management and associated controls, particularly extending/migrating on-prem private cloud solutions into AWS GovCloud.  Engineering integrated solutions which utilize virtualization (VMWare, AWS), software-defined technologies (such as networking), infrastructure as code, API integrations, and DevSecOps (Containers, Micro-Services, Kubernetes).  Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate new technologies for potential adoption to enhance business processes, customer experience, and competitive advantage. Oversee the lifecycle of IT projects from conception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Manage risks and issues, making adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives. Troubleshooting Linux and Windows software applications and environments from layer 7 down.
