We are seeking a Physical Security Solution Architect with a strong track record of designing solutions around multiple manufacturers’ equipment and software services including card access control, IP based security video systems, intrusion detection and other electronic physical security sub-systems. The ideal candidate would have comprehensive knowledge and deployment experience of Lenel, RS2, Open Options, Milestone, Avigilon/Motorola and Bosch hardware and software systems.
In this pre-sales role, you will be working with clients, account executives and field engineers to understand business requirements, architect solutions and deliver professional proposals. (Regional travel)
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
· Provide pre-sales and post-sales support for electronic physical security related solutions.· Understand client's physical security environments, business needs and provide expertise and consulting on solutions.· Make in-person and virtual (Microsoft Teams / telepresence) presentations to clients.· Work closely with inside and outside account management team to develop and drive business.· Coordinate hardware and software quotations with account teams.· Develop and deliver scope of works, hour / cost estimates, professional proposals, and design documentation.· Provide management and account team oral and written reports on the client needs, problems, interests, market situations, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.· Advance knowledge about products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competition, and technology trends through research, partner technical experts and customer feedback.· Work closely and collaborate with Physical Security Account Executives on opportunities.· Other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
· 2+ years of physical security design experience (or comparable field) OR 5 years of physical security field implementation experience & 1+ year relevant design experience.· Experience with AutoCAD.· Ideally would have a strong knowledge of Lenel, RS2, Open Options, Milestone, Avigilon and Bosch hardware and software systems.· Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent work and/or military experience· Must possess strong computer skills and have the ability to effectively use Internet and Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.· Must be able to exercise effective time management skills (prioritize, work on a time line)· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.· Self-motivated and desire to succeed· Must possess strong organizational skills· Solid interpersonal and presentation skills including client-facing consulting skills.YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend/descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
On-call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift hours Monday – Friday, with occasional 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends depending on project schedules.
