We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Quantico, VA. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders (business leaders, product managers, and technical teams) to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectural solutions. • Design and architect complex systems, ensuring they meet functional, non-functional, and performance requirements while aligning with business objectives. • Conduct technology assessments, evaluating new tools, platforms, and frameworks to recommend the best solutions for the organization’s needs. • Create and document architecture blueprints, including high-level system designs, integration patterns, and detailed specifications, to guide development and implementation. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, architectural guidelines, and standards. • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure the architecture supports smooth deployments, scalability, and resilience across environments. • Lead technical discussions and workshops, helping stakeholders understand the architecture and its implications on cost, performance, and security. • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies, ensuring the architecture is secure, compliant, and capable of handling future growth. • Review and approve technical designs and solutions from development teams, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture vision. • Monitor and optimize existing systems, identifying areas for improvement in terms of performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, constantly evaluating new solutions and techniques to improve the architectural landscape. • Communicate regularly with executive leadership to provide updates on architectural progress, project timelines, and potential challenges. Requirements: Provides technical direction and expertise in a variety of specialized areas including information systems engineering, software systems architecture, systems integration, data integration, enterprise application integration (EAI), systems design and requirements specification. May serve as technical lead or as a senior technical staff member. Responsibilities may include a combination of the following: establishes system information requirements, designs architecture to include the applications, data and services to support the total requirements, evaluates and integrates cross-functional requirements and interfaces, evaluates and defines software requirements, performs enterprise-wide strategic systems planning, provides technical and/or subject-matter expertise to project, and/or may supervise less senior technical staff. Clearance Required: Top Secret Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field.
