Solutions Consultant

As a Solutions Consultant, you will utilize significant professional experience in the invoice payment and presentment industry to advise prospects and customers, analyze and solve complex issues, and guide sales representatives on alternate courses of action in a deal. You must be able to intelligently and quickly balance company objectives and customer requests when resolving issues. Your ability to talk to people at all levels in a customer’s organization and project strong credibility and expertise in conversations will enable success in this role. By applying your ability to discuss both business and technical software issues in detail, and to be an expert on how those types of issues relate to each other, you will enable our sales team to close new business.

What You'll Do:

Create and prepare configured demonstrations that surprise and delight our prospects Work with the sales teams to create presentations that both excite and inform during customer meetings Effectively respond to requests for information and project proposals and highlight the advantages of our solution to our customers Listen to customer requirements and interpret them into a solution that meets both the needs of the business and our customer Set prospect expectations early in the process and manage the project scope and create the Statement of Work to handover with our Professional Services teams Support and guide our partner channel as they sell and implement our solutions; aid our Marketing team with seminars, demonstrations and provide creative solutions.

What You'll Bring:

4+ years of experience in Credit/Collections or Accounts Receivables role with a proven detailed understanding of the day-to-day challenges of the invoice-to-cash process, or 3+ years of presales or consulting experience in SaaS based financial technology or similar field. Ability to communicate and demonstrate the value of complex Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based solutions to prospects and customers Ability to gather requirements and work with development teams Ability to utilize deep technical knowledge of the invoice-to-cash process to build credibility and showcase product strengths Proven ability to use advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and align solutions to business problems  An organized, self-starter who can work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to maximize performance and meet deadlines A high degree of passion, energy, drive and willingness to travel (approximately 25% travel) Continual focus on education, both in seeking greater depth of currently supported solutions, and expanding support for additional Billtrust solutions  

The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
