Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Samsung Ads, the advertising monetization arm of Samsung Electronics, leverages proprietary real-time TV viewing behavior and insights to promote relevant brands and content experiences for consumers. We partner with brands, agencies and content owners to deliver unique advertising opportunities on native placements within our Smart TV platform and programmatically with a cross device solution.

Samsung’s unique first party data & inventory allows brands to connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets, our Smart TVs, and now DOOH. Samsung Ads delivers high-quality audience targeting and creative solutions powered by our proprietary ad tech stack. We have a focus on first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and custom creative solutions all across our brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a confident individual to join our New Product and Solutions team. We are looking for someone to focus on performance advertising related to website attribution and offline sales. They should have a self-starter mindset with a passion for driving the vision and requirement for innovative products.

They should be knowledgeable about digital targeting, attribution models and reporting, performance advertising, and offline data (eg in CPG, retail, location, and auto), with a strong understanding of the innovation process.

The Solutions Director will be the represent the voice of the customer to our internal product, technology, and sales and marketing teams, championing the voice of client needs using this market knowledge to set the vision for, and drive the implementation of, solutions.

Candidates must have a strong knowledge base of digital advertising, including programmatic, mobile advertising, ROI driving ad formats and the connected TV space.  They will be expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.

The Solutions Director will report directly to the   and will be based in NYC with domestic US and international travel as needed.  If you're interested in joining a growing team working to build a unique, world-class advertising organization with a relentless focus on customer experience, you've come to the right place.

Specific responsibilities include:

Identify and prioritize product needs based on customers and marketplace feedback and communicate business requirements effectively to help drive an impactful product roadmap.Craft detailed requirements for data-driven solutions, ranging from targeting to planning to measurement.Work directly with clients to identify new features & functions and serve as a product expert in client meetings and solution development.Consult go-to-market teams in developing sales and marketing narratives based on – data insights, use cases, customer successes and unique value and differentiators for Samsung Ads.Support go-to-market teams in product communications to gear the business team with most relevant information on new product innovations and in-market product enhancements.Be the business & solutions subject matter expert across the business in all areas of key upper funnel, reach and contextual solutions.

Qualifications:

8+ years working in an adtech or Advertising Sales company, crafting new solutions, products, or go-to-market in the Agency and Brand space.Experience working with media adtech, television, or video.Experience working with data solutions.Comfort with major data concepts such as machine learning and attribution reporting.Understanding & proficiency in media planning and measurement concepts.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising or related field.Ability to hold internal & external customer interviews and distill key feedback needed to move our ad tech platforms forward with clear rationale.Creativity, not willing to accept the status quo, and work to build support and consensus for ideas across teams is highly valued. Detail-oriented approach to crafting data-driven solutions, that serve client needs from end-to-end.Knowledge of agile development principles, what it takes to work in semi-decentralized, coordinated teams with a can-do, collaborative attitude.

  

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $210,000 and $250,000 plus bonus.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
