MEET THE TEAM As a Solutions engineer, you will be part of a distinguished team of dedicated Public Sector Solutions engineer who are transforming how our customers educate, protect, and serve while aligning Cisco solutions with their business outcomes. You’ll have access to Cisco’s extensive technology and applications portfolio, serving a variety of vertical markets, including State, Local Government, and Education (SLED). YOUR IMPACT You are an experienced Systems Architect or Solutions Engineer with a strong background in: - Networking, collaboration, unified access, cybersecurity, and datacenter/virtualization. - Partnering with Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role to showcase Cisco solutions. - Industry knowledge and technical expertise, enabling you to effectively explain features and benefits, design solutions, and configure products tailored to customer requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - 6+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, and datacenter industries. - In-depth knowledge in at least one specialty area: Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Route/Switch/Wireless, or Programmability. - Proven expertise in relevant solution sets, product line specifications, performance criteria, and applications. - CCIE or equivalent experience and certifications. - Basic understanding of programmability.
