The Work You'll Do:
The primary focus of this role providing the necessary actions for client Incidents or Requests from an SAP technical aspect, mainly ABAP development, debugging, troubleshooting and configuration of sovos e-Transformation products for different countries. A successful candidate for this position is expected to work as part of the Sovos support team and Sovos products on heterogeneous customer landscapes comprising of both SAP and non-SAP systems with moderate integration models. The SAP Solution Engineer is expected to utilize Sovos product knowledge and SAP skills in problem solving and troubleshooting during support process. This role also requires great communication skills in terms of managing customer expectation and stress during the whole support case lifecycle.
More specifically, you will:
Troubleshoot client Incidents in the defined SLA’s. Develop new solutions based on client requests or incident resolution. Collaborate efficiently with customers and sovos global teams across different geolocations Lead technical related meetings with customer as needed. Ability to work on cases concurrently when required. Technical experience with on premise, hosted and cloud-based systems. Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
What We Need From You:.
Superior communication skills, oral and written. Efficient command of the English language. Confident and comfortable working with large, Fortune 1000 customers Experience in digital transformation processes (e-invoice, e-archieve etc.) is desired. Minimum of 3 years of ABAP development experience with proven knowledge in: ABAP Reports and Dialog Programing SAP authorization Objects Excellent analysis problem solving skills is a most Ability to understand packaged solutions and implement them on SAP Regulatory software experience is an advantage Basic ABAP Objects knowledge ALV Grids programming BDC Programing Great team player and self-learner using available product documentation Knowledge of SAP outputs techniques with Smartforms and SAP Scripts Ability to work as part of team to deliver exceptional results to Sovos clients Excellent time management & multi-tasking skills.
