Role DescriptionThe Solutions Engineer/Architect – BillBlast/iTimekeep/Onyx works in conjunction with the sales team as the key advisor and product advocate for the ADERANT Business of Law products and as a liaison between Sales and Product Management/Marketing/Development. The Solutions Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. This position will be heavily focused educating and advocating for firms to embrace a ‘Cloud First’ path forward.
Qualifications Experience and familiarity with enterprise billing systems (BillBlast/iTimekeep/Onyx preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Accounting/Finance or similar law firm experience required.5+ years relevant experience in the legal industry5+ years relevant experience implementing business management software (law firms)5+ years relevant experience in product sales or solution consulting/presalesProven relationship and organization management skillsProficient in Microsoft SQL Management Studio and/or equivalent database/development toolsUp to 25% travel Responsibilities Work with firms to document and review cloud-readiness/modernization plansWork with CMs and CSMs to provide technical consulting assistance to clientsWork closely with internal teams, including Development, Professional Services, Product Management, and Support, to ensure successful project deliveryWork with Product Management/Development to communicate findings from field work/client interactionsAssist with vision messaging on cloud migration and adoptionAssist with development and delivery of product demonstrations for Sales teamsConduct presentations of the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, webinars, etc.Assist with responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPsAssist with vetting needs/use cases and testingAssist in maintaining up-to-date cloud demonstration environmentAssist with testing and coordinating upgrades, patches and other GTM activities.Ideal candidates must be self-motivated, have experience in the legal/professional services vertical, and have knowledge the technology and software used in this industry. Candidates must be comfortable with the dynamic atmosphere of a technology-driven organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidates must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Candidates should be organized and analytical, be able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
