Meet the Team 

Commercial Region primarily covering the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex as well as Central Texas. The team currently has 12 AEs and 11 SEs (including this new hire) The Lone Star Select Commercial Region is the largest in US Commercial and has a history of success and has a complement of very tenured and relatively new team members. 

 

Your Impact 

I’m looking for a pre-sales Solutions Engineer that will work with Account Executives selling to accounts in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. This is a technical sales position that contributes to the production goals of the Lone Star Select Commercial Region. I need someone who has the passion for helping our customers achieve their desired business outcomes with Cisco solutions. This is a fast-paced exciting opportunity to join a successful Cisco team positioning the entire Cisco portfolio to our customers while continuously learning along the way. 

Must possess a solid technical foundation  Have a business acumen  Great interpersonal skills  Willing to continue to learn Cisco and competitive solutions  Must work well and collaborate with others 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  5+ Experience in IT     5+ in a Systems Administration Experience

·       Must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex  

·       Must be available to entertain customers or partners in the evenings.

·       Must be willing to travel overnight for conferences, internal meetings, or training sessions.

·       Must have reliable transportation for commuting and travel purposes.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·     Knowledge of networks and switch fabrics 

Prior experience in a customer facing role preferred  Knowledge of networks and switch fabrics  Experience using Cisco or competitive solutions preferred  Knowledge of Security, Data Center, Cloud, and AI applications are a plus  Passionate about competing in a fast-paced sales environment
