The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing, supporting, or selling solutions that resolve prospect pains in pricing proposal responses.
The Solution Engineer's role is to develop long term, strategic relationships with existing and prospective customers to achieve significant sales and profit growth. Proactively work with sales management, marketing and related support departments to ensure sales needs are met or exceeded. Provide in-depth knowledge of Deltek ProPricer solution to customers and colleagues. Understand the needs of customers/prospects and translate those needs into a demonstration of the solution's functional and technical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales presentations of the ProPricer solution suite to secure the sales win, addressing and removing all technical objections to the proposed solution.
- Serves as key strategic and technical advisor for opportunities, making recommendation to sales team based on customer requirements and solution capabilities
- Partners with Sales to conduct pre-sales discussions with sales reps to strategize on sales approach and offer product advice.
- Develops and updates demo scripts, demo scenarios, and demo databases
- Assists Sales in qualifying prospects from a functional and business process perspective.
- Collaborates with sales counterparts and proposal team to respond to RFI/RFPs.
- Represents company and demonstrates product at sales and marketing events.
- Mentors and trains peers on Deltek applications and methodologies.
- Proactively assumes responsibility for learning new products and maintains outstanding knowledge of relevant software applications
- Participates in our software release process, making recommendations for new applications and enhanced functionality in existing software.
- Actively supports the corporation's Win Strategy. Work Location:US RemoteQualifications: Qualifications:
- In depth product knowledge of ProPricer solution set
- Demonstrable presentation skills.
- Experience government contracting or other project-based organizations strongly desired.
- Strong technical background with understanding of enterprise application architecture, application integration, and content management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Travel required.

This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
