Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Digital Twin & Data Analytics solutions engineer to join our technical presales and support team. The candidate should have strong background in data science and digital twin tools and technologies with a passion for understanding client needs from manufacturing and engineering domain with a consultative approach and building/delivering tailored solutions built with Altair's technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technology, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing clients to drive innovation and optimize processes through advanced data analytics and digital twin solutions. This position requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver Altair’s value proposition to key stake holders outlining both immediate and long-term business value. Travel will be up to 30-40%.
What You Will Do:
Roles and Responsibilities
Technical Consultation: Engage with engineering, manufacturing and other industry clients/prospects, understand there requirements, and provide expert guidance and consultation on leveraging digital twin technologies and data analytics technologies from Altair to solve their business problems, enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation in their operations. Tools and Technologies: Work with Altair's Data Analytics, Digital Twin , MBSE and IOT platforms and deliver solutions, proof of concept development, solution design & demonstrations. Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to design customized digital twin and data analytics solutions tailored to the specific needs and challenges of each client. Proof of Concept/Value Development: Lead the development of proof of concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions, digital twin platforms, utilizing data analytics tools, IOT solution, simulation techniques etc Digital Twin Development: Design and develop digital twin models of physical systems, systems engineering, integrating real-time data streams, simulation algorithms, and predictive analytics to create virtual representations that mimics the behavior and performance of the actual assets. Performance Optimization: Collaborate with clients to optimize the performance of their systems and processes by leveraging digital twins for predictive maintenance, process optimization, and scenario analysis. Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize advanced statistical analysis and modeling techniques to extract actionable insights from large datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization and improvement Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients in the implementation and utilization of data analytics and digital twin solutions, ensuring smooth integration into their existing workflows and systems. Market Research: Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in data analytics, digital twin technology, and the engineering/manufacturing industry, conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and emerging technologies
What You Will Need:
Basics:
4+ years of experience in technical presales support role or solutions consulting in the areas of digital twin, systems engineering, IOT solutions, data analytics, machine learning, data visualization. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including strong presentation and demonstration skills, ability to influence credibly to all levels of business including C-level executives Proven analytic skills/understanding of systems simulations for digital twin applications, basic understanding of statistical analytics, machine learning & AI algorithms, data modeling techniques. Working knowledge of system simulations, digital twin platforms like Altair Twin Activate, Simulink/Matlab, Ansys Twin Builder, Siemens Simcenter, Dymola , Maple , GT Suite, OpenModelica or similar platform/technologies. Knowledge of data preparation for predictive analytics, creating visualizations as well as machine learning modelling and concepts. Knowledge of open-source languages and related technologies as well as any other data science related languages like R, Python, and SQL or Data Science platforms like RapidMiner, Alteryx, Dataiku etc. and BI technologies like Power BI, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects Tableau and Qlik would be an asset. Experience in producing and delivering client-focused non solicited proposed solutions based on customer requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhDs degree in any Engineering domain.Preferred:
Working experience on Altair Digital Twin platform or Data Analytics platform would be an asset. Candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Any Engineering Stream with working experience on Digital Twin, IOT, Data Science and Digital technologies would be an asset.How You Will Be Successful:
