Solutions Manager -Project Professional Services
  Job Overview

The Solutions Manager Project Professional Services (PPS) will primarily be responsible for supporting the growth in the value of projects delivered on existing Mitie customer accounts and for assisting bid activity for new and retained contracts on a national basis.

 

Main Duties

This role involves supporting the strategy for PPS and assisting with business development activity across the PPS portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Mitie products, services and propositions with particular reference to project delivery capabilities and value propositions. With the Solutions Director, supporting the Mitie FM sales and bid team as a project delivery Subject Matter Expert (SME). With the Solutions Director, supporting the development of complex win strategies for bids and sales projects. Supporting the Solutions Director and the Projects Client Development Directors in building a visible pipeline of new business opportunities and enhancements. Supporting the Solutions Director in implementing a programme to build relationships with key stakeholders and potential customers. Working with the PPS project directors and the Solutions Director to generate holistic solutions that address client needs and differentiate Mitie from competitors to include leading solution design and developing commercial content for on-account opportunities and tenders. Working with the Projects Centre of Excellence to integrate emerging digital and AI solutions into PPS value propositions. Supporting the PPS project directors and Solutions Director in resolving live project delivery issues. Supporting the achievement of set objectives and financial targets. Tracking and reporting progress against current and future opportunities to support business reporting activities. Promoting a positive customer-oriented culture.   What we are looking for Ideally experience working at Solutions Manager, Account Manager level in a project delivery organisation Ability to identify, analyse and engage credibly with internal and external stakeholders at appropriate levels within their respective organisations Appropriate communication skills with the ability to shape and hone a message to meet the needs of the target audience Able to deliver results in a matrix environment Experience in supporting development of business cases Able to manage and track high level programme plans for multi-year investments Technically experienced with a graduate level knowledge of the built environment
