**Description**
A.T. Still University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Curriculum Coordinator on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The Curriculum Coordinator works closely with the department Chair and Course Directors, performing essential duties to support curricular and administrative needs, ensuring the seamless delivery of curriculum. This position must work in compliance with accreditation standards while assisting with curricular planning, assessment, and day-to-day operations.
**Duties & Responsibilites:**
+ Promote and preserve the mission of ATSU-SOMA.
+ Work collaboratively with the Assistant Deans of Curriculum, Instructional Designer, Chairs, Course Directors, faculty, and staff to support the student user experience including curricular delivery, curricular assessment, and other workflow processes.
+ Assist with other duties and functions as needed/assigned by the Director of Curriculum Coordination and/or designee to maintain efficient and effective daily operations.
+ Assists with grade book management, creation of academic calendars, syllabi, and booklists.
+ Organize and maintain the architecture of digital resources and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Zoom, Microsoft Office 365, ExamSoft, Evalue, Progress IQ, etc.)
+ Run reports and prepare specific data from specified digital resources upon request of the Assistant Deans.
+ Provides first-line communication with learners enrolled in assigned courses. Post announcements to the learning management system as indicated by the course director.
+ Assist with creating, administering, and collecting data for course, instructor, and Institutional surveys.
+ Assist with creating and administering student assessments and summative examinations.
+ Be willing to learn new software tools as they become institutionalized.
+ Assist with training and provide coverage for absent support staff.
+ Participate in and support committee meetings as assigned.
+ Proctor examinations and participate in designated Institutional activities as needed.
+ Effectively communicate and interact with students, staff, faculty, and leadership in matters related to ATSU-SOMA and Institutional effectiveness and assessment.
+ Maintain FERPA confidentiality and security of student data under applicable law and Institutional Policies and Procedures.
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (prefer health sciences, instructional design, or related technology degree). Higher Education (health sciences; medical education preferred).
+ Proficiency with software and databases; Microsoft Office and Google Suite, graphic design software, Canvas LMS preferred. Prior work experience in higher education, preferably medical education and hybrid education model that includes distance and classroom learning.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, across multiple professions/disciplines and levels.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Proficient in MS software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, internet, and Canvas LMS.
+ Minimum basic graphic design and data management skills.
+ Comfortable using computers, laptops, tablets, cameras, and smart phone devices.
+ Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
+ Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities, and make critical decisions.
+ Self-motivated and able to work independently requiring little to no supervision.
+ Ability to work both as a team leader and as a supportive team member.
+ Curiosity, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment are essential.

+ Ability and availability to work extended periods of time on simulation/special event days.
+ Ability to learn new software, data management tools, and effective workflows.
