Job Responsibilities:
The Sommelier is responsible for assisting with the outlet wine list, controlling cost, maintaining wine storage areas, keeping accurate inventory, training outlet staff in proper wine service, communicating with guests in a clear and professional manner, and providing excellent guests service according to Wynn Las Vegas service standards.
The Sommelier also assists with service duties.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus. Requires a minimum of 2 years work experience as a sommelier in a restaurant with an extensive wine program and previous work experience as a food server.Requires advanced service knowledge and expert of wines, including vintages, regions, and food pairings. Sommelier Certification a plus.Requires the ability work efficiently and within a team environment.
