***SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE***Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Sonographer to join our Cardiology team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Performs cardiac ultrasound exams in the hospital, clinic, and mobile setting. Provides diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds, to outpatients and inpatients, to aid in the assessment and treatment of cardiac diseases. Performs quantitative analysis of M-mode, 2D, 3D, Doppler, and strain imaging. Administers contrast agents and bubbles for exams as needed. Performs exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms. Assists cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms. Responsible for off premise on-call hours on nights and weekends. Provides training and support to echo students during clinical internships.

Work Schedule:

M-F, 630-430 (8 hour shifts), occasional call and weekends

Required Qualifications:

ARDMS or CCI registered, or registry eligible. Credentials must be obtained within 1 year from the date of graduation.  (similar credentials approved by acceptable credentialing bodies, such as Intersocietal Accreditation Commission – IAC, will also be considered).

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of an AMA allied health occupation program in echocardiography or a bachelor’s degree in life science is strongly preferred. For positions with direct patient contact: Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, discrimination and harassment laws).
