Position Summary:

Performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures.  Performs variety of ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.



Required:                                                                                                             

                                                                                                                               

Two years of formal education/training beyond high school at an approved school of Medical Sonography. Registration as Diagnostic Sonographer required or registration completed within 12 months of accepting the position. CPR certification

Preferred:  6 months-1 year of job-related experience.
