What you will do:
Performs Ultrasound procedures on scheduled shifts including emergency callback, operating ultrasound equipmentInstructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure.Instructs, supervises, and evaluates student technologists.Demonstrates proficiency in performing all exams according to protocol. Maintains the physical environment of the department in a clean, well-stocked, orderly manner.Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited two-year Ultrasound Technologist program.Registered with ARDMS within 3 months. Maintain active registry status during employment.Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.Pass vascular boards within eighteen months of hire.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
