**Overview** St. Lukes Health–The Vintage Hospital provides high-quality compassionate care for residents of the Willowbrook Champions and Tomball areas of Northwest Houston. The Vintage Hospital offers the latest in diagnostic and surgical expertise including heart care women’s health and orthopedics. **Responsibilities** Performs ultrasound exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director; Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging test inclusive of positioning patient, equipment management, and documentation of findings. 1. Prepares equipment ensuring that it is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards 3. Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems 4. Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards 5. Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained 6. Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure **Qualifications** Required: Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT CPR/BLS certification Preferred: Associate’s Degree **Pay Range** $44.00 - $44.00 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
