If you're a dedicated professional with a passion for providing high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** **About the Role:** As a Sonographer, you will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality images and accurate interpretations across various specialties. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. This .6 FTE evening shift position offers a balanced work-life integration while making a significant contribution to our team. **Responsibilities:** + Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using a variety of equipment, adhering to AIUM standards and departmental protocols. + Obtain high-resolution images and accurately document findings. + Perform quality control checks on equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain supplies. + Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and answering questions. + Accurately record patient history and relevant information. + Relay emergent exam results promptly to the appropriate physician or medical floor. + Maintain accurate patient records and ensure appropriate billing. + Participate in quality assurance/improvement activities. + Assist with the training of ultrasound interns (as applicable). + Perform general office duties as needed (answering phones, scheduling, filing, ordering supplies). **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Associate's degree from an accredited diagnostic sonography program and completion of a 12-month internship (or equivalent experience). + Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). + Current BLS certification. + Proven knowledge of ultrasound principles, procedures, and safety regulations. + Proficiency in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Generous Sign-On Bonus:** We are offering a highly competitive sign-on bonus to qualified candidates. **Benefits of Joining St. Clare Hospital:** + Competitive compensation and benefits package + Desirable evening shift schedule (.6 FTE) + Generous sign-on bonus + Supportive and collaborative work environment + Opportunities for professional growth and development **Pay Range** $40.00 - $61.84 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
