Sonographer – Ultrasound (Levels I, II, III, IV) Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $40.00 - $64.81 an hour, Half Time, Days. 20 hours/week Pay is based on level and certifications. $5000 Sign On Bonus **rehires not eligible $2.50/hr weekends Boulder Community health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform high quality diagnostic Ultrasound exams in the areas of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. You will assist the Radiologists with procedures and ensure optimal patient care. As a proficient communicator, you will serve as a problem-solving leader and organizer, by fostering effective collaboration with staff. Responsibilities •Provide quality patient care •Performs US exams, using good judgement in scanning, understanding all anatomical measurements, and documenting anatomy/pathology •Assists the Radiologists and other physicians with interpretation of exams. •Assists the Radiologists and physicians with US guided invasive procedures. •work closely with radiologists and other physicians. •Transports patients to and from department or other areas within the hospital. •Monitors and cleans US equipment and reports equipment malfunction to biomed and the supervisor. •Works toward the goal of quality assurance. •Works "on-call" after hours.
