The Sourcing Analyst within Indirect Procurement is responsible for ensuring that an end-to-end sourcing process is followed to advise the business on best total value in supplier-facing engagements within the Marketing + Travel categories. This responsibility involves successful internal relationships and influence, successful external relationships and negotiation, and bringing recommendations to provide the best total value in product selection, quality, service, and pricing on moderately complex projects. This position is also responsible for tracking and reporting savings and providing presentations to management on a periodic basis regarding the projects within the Sourcing Analyst’s scope.Prioritize sourcing activities according to the company’s timelines and strategies Facilitate the RFX process (Request for Quote, Request for Information, and Request for Proposal)Analyze costs proposed by suppliers and understand general market data in order to provide recommendations to internal business partners accordinglyFollows standard practices that ensure compliance on sourcing engagements with policies and procedures, and ensure that the appropriate audit trails are followed including providing finalized contracts to a centralized locationContribute to the development of innovative procurement strategies while aligning processes and policies to meet specific business requirementsTrack and report cost savings and cost avoidances that were achieved during negotiationsExercise independent judgement within Procurement practices to determine appropriate actions and next steps Issue and redline agreements and resolve vendor disputesMust establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally to influence the project team to achieve or beat challenging goalsAnalyze and evaluate performance data from underperforming suppliers, develop improvement programsLead strategic travel decisions for WWW including but not limited to policy development and policy communicationsWork collaboratively with business partners across the organization on tactical travel needs to support continuity of day-to-day business operationsPerforms duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policiesPerforms other duties as required/assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Marketing3+ years Procurement experienceProject management skills preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify trendsProficient with the Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPointRequires excellent written and verbal communication skills including facilitationClearly and succinctly present information to stakeholders at all levels of managementExperience leading negotiation with suppliersProven track record of quality decision making skills specific to Procurement/Project ManagementHighly motivated and results orientatedExperience in planning and executing processes

Working Conditions:

Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
