As a Sourcing Analyst within the Global Supplier Services team, you will collaborate with suppliers to deliver quality and capability, supporting our business needs. As a Sourcing Analyst, you will partner with senior executives and stakeholders to deliver sourcing solutions that promote value and efficiency. You will manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance with policies, and support category management deliverables. Your role will involve negotiating commercial terms, leading contract development, and promoting cost reduction initiatives. Job responsibilities

Support category management deliverables, including analysis, data gathering, and market insights.Develop relationships with senior executives and stakeholders to understand business drivers and sourcing requirements.Ensure third-party vendor relationships and channel compliance align with strategic priorities.Identify and qualify suppliers capable of meeting JPMC requirements.Conduct in-depth supplier due diligence and risk assessments.Lead negotiations to establish commercial terms and manage contract development through approval and execution.Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines.Partner with internal teams and clients on local, regional, and global sourcing projects.Ensure selected vendors comply with service level agreements through collaboration with partners and client teams.Drive channel compliance and support vendor rationalization programs.Leverage firm-wide buying power and control risk to achieve cost-effective sourcing outcomes.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Extensive technology sourcing experience, including global and regional third-party providers.Strong sourcing, contracting, and procurement knowledge.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.Ability to multitask and manage complex assignments with defined deadlines.Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.Strong relationship management and analytical skills.Proficiency with RPA tools and technologies.Minimum 4 years experience managing third-party providers or spend categories.Bachelor’s degree required.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Ariba.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Proven track record in strategic thinking within sourcing or vendor management roles and experience in the Banking & Financial Services industry preferred.Knowledge of RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ).Understanding of legal clauses and service level agreements.Experience with technology sourcing transformation and process improvement.Ability to interpret legal clauses and manage contractual risks.

 

TENURE: 

Must meet minimum employment tenure requirement. Specific roles require longer tenure in current position to be eligible to apply. Unless established for specific positions by the line of business, the standard tenure requirement is 12 months.
