Procurement Analyst Senior

HOW A SOURCING ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manage and complete the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.  Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and executionCompletion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of additional work experience in lieu of a degree5+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurementMUST have direct acquisition experience procuring in accordance with FAR.Experience negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers.Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.HYBRID role--MUST go into the Falls Church office weeklyUS persons required

Desired Qualifications:

Experience running RFP’s for direct procurements and/or strategic negotiationsExperience procuring IT Hardware, Software, Cloud/Saas, or other related commodities
