Your Role at Delta Faucet

As a Sourcing Category Manager at Delta Faucet Company, you will have direct influence and leadership over sourcing strategies deployed globally to enable leading performance levels across service, cost, quality and working capital returns. You will lead a team of commodity professionals to achieve company objectives through directing key aspects of strategy development, supplier performance metrics, pricing optimization, business agreements, initiative execution, employee coaching and mentoring, etc. You will cultivate professional and collaborative connections with global partners, collaborators and external suppliers. This role reports to the Director of Global Sourcing and Supplier Development.

Responsibilities

Establishing the vision of the category through development of commodity strategies and execution of action plans for a diversified global supply baseTeam coaching, training & development enabling rewarding careers for our teams and a strong Winning Together environmentWorks closely with cross-functional areas of quality, value management, engineering, marketing, operations and finance to ensure alignment and execution to exceed our goals to win together while proactively ensuring internal alignmentImplements cost savings using various tools such as: value management, market testing, outlier analysis, building competition, supplier development and improvementsKeeps current with ongoing changes with international supply chain regulations, currency changes, commodity changes, and code changes required to protect the company’s assets in an always changing marketBuild and sustain positive relationship engagement with suppliers that should be maintained in order to bring in products that consistently meet or exceed Delta’s supplier performance goals.Assures awards are done per strategy and assures the best total cost of all new NPD projectsLeads all aspects of supplier performance for time delivery, defective parts per million, lead time, and PPAP approval metrics and related business practices (i.e. business continuity/risk)Leads efforts for early-stage R&D or front-end projects to assure supplier compliance and capabilitiesSupports related cross-functional supply chain and service activitiesSustains compliance and auditing of department standard workCompletes timely and reliably on special projects and ad-hoc management requests

Qualifications

Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations or related field and 5+ years of working experience in related field(s) above with Sourcing related application3+ years of management / leadership experience in developing team membersProficient use of SAP (or similar ERP), Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI), Supplier Management solutions (GEP)Excellent negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma)Ability to influence and work collaboratively in a cross functional team settingDesire and aim to be a constant learner and challenger of paradigms to achieve advancing practices for business impactOther Considerations: This will be a hybrid role based in the Indianapolis area. Travel required: approximately 10%-15% domestic and 10% international; may vary dependent on activities assigned and lead by team

Hiring Range: $101,100.00 - $158,950.00

Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
