Sourcing Contract Manager
Seeking a Sourcing Contract Manager to join the Pharmaceutical Operations and Supply Chain (PSC) Contracts team, reporting to the Lead for Contracts, Budgets, and Outsourcing. This role is responsible for supporting contract management activities, including administering, drafting, and executing contracts related to the PSC team. Additionally, the Sourcing Contract Manager will assist in escalations and the resolution of supplier payment commitments as needed. The position will collaborate with various internal and external business teams to address contract and financial requests. + Draft,negotiate and manage Statement of Works (SoWs) and Change Orders (COs)associated with low-risk contracts leveraging the Legal Contract LifecycleManagement (CLM) system. + Adviseand troubleshoot on existing agreements under the guidance of the assignedteam member. + Attendcross functional internal and external supplier meetings to ensuresupplier contract terms and conditions are adequately addressed andcontracts executed in a timely manner. + Responsiblefor the routing, tracking and facilitating the timely progress ofcontracts from point of submission into PSC through to execution. + Preparestatus reports for contracts in circulation. + Responsiblefor the creation of purchase requisitions to enable the PSC business tocommence work with the scope of the executed contract. + Whererequired assist and support continuous improvement activities to improvethe team’s ability to deliver value to the business. + Assistwhen required as escalation from the PSC business to resolve issuesarising from invoices pending department approvals. Partner withProcurement Operations and Accounts Payable to resolve PO/invoice issues. + Facilitateand support budget forecasting and accrual activities where required. + Providesupport during any financial audits at month or quarterly close, asneeded. + Asapplicable per designated PSC business, maintain GxP and financial auditinspection readiness. + Utilizeexperience and expertise to assist with other Sourcing projects asrequired. + Theideal candidate must have 1-2 years of direct working experiences in thelife-sciences industries emphasis on contract drafting and sourcingnegotiations with preferably outsource services such as contractmanufacturers (CMOs), clinical researcher (CROs) and/or clinical researchtesting laboratories. + Collaborationwith multi-functional teams. + Workingknowledge of clinical and commercial supply chain contract terms andconditions. + Experiencein negotiating and drafting complex contract manufacturing, biologics andclinical and commercial supply chain related agreements. + Experiencein SAP, Ariba, Tableau and management of both clinical and commercialsupply chain, required. + Experiencein Contract Life Management (preferred Agiloft) system.
