This position will be responsible for Sourcing Contracts Management and procurement\nrelated legal activities for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) UK &\nNordics region, and across Europe (English speaking). HBS installs, integrates\nand maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure,\ncomfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading provider of energy efficiency\nsolutions worldwide.

HBS specializes in service of critical building systems,\nincluding heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building\nautomation, fire, security and energy management. HBS is now looking for a strong candidate able\nto fill a Sourcing Contracts Manager role in the UK. This role will ensure a\nsolid sourcing and subcontractor/supplier contracts and legal support in a\ncomplex business environment and support the sourcing leaders in their\nnegotiation with subcontractors and suppliers from legal side. The successful\ncandidate will be part of the HBS Europe Sourcing Leadership Team that is driving\nthe business in the country.

 Sourcing Contracts Management (Location: Prague)

OBJECTIVE:

UK & Europe are very complex in terms of laws and regulations – and as\nsuch requires a Sourcing Contracts Manager has to adopt a solid understanding of\nour products and services, market mechanics and practices. Knowledge of\napplicable laws and regulations is of great importance to this function. Also,\nthe candidate needs to understand, apply and facilitate trainings regarding our\ninternal approval and compliance policies and needs to have a solid\nunderstanding of anti-corruption and anti-trust laws. Attendance to important\ninternal meetings, monthly reporting and trainings for our Sourcing teams are\nrequired on a regular basis. Traveling\nwill be required about 10-15% of the time.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and implement subcontract strategies.Build and maintain strong supplier/subcontractor relationships that can support the business in winning new opportunities.Define, develop and maintain formal documented district sourcing strategy based on business needs, using market and competitive data.Negotiate price, payment terms, and other delivery-and performance-related terms with selected supplier and subcontractors using applicable negotiation strategies to achieve Post Award Savings.Drive the use of preferred subcontractors and incorporate / increase the use of negotiated catalogues.Support development of cost estimate during proposal phase.Proactively engage with Sales and estimating team in their front-end planning during estimation to understand requirements and develop project sourcing plans.Provide proposal support tied to the business area needs. This includes initiating Requests for Proposals (RFP), reviewing/analyzing responses and providing guidance to the program during the subcontractor selection process.Identify subcontractors to meet business requirements, ensure they are qualified in accordance with standard Honeywell HBS policies.Review subcontractor requested modifications to Honeywell standard Terms and Conditions, if necessary, enter into negotiations.
Subcontractor Purchase Order conversion and performance monitoring.Prepare subcontractor contracts back-to-back with customer contracts in close cooperation with solutions and service team
Re-negotiate supplier and subcontractor offers in Post Award phase to achieve additional savings.Throughout the performance period, communicate regularly with stakeholders on subcontractor performance, and take action when necessary to remedy unsatisfactory performance (claim preparation / resolution) in accordance with terms and conditions.
Strategic Sourcing initiativesIncrease effective utilization and adoption of procurement toolset including e-sourcing, e-invoice, catalogues'.Track and drive continuous improvement in PO compliance and sourcing efficiency (no touch PO).Support ensuring business purchase activity in accordance with standard Honeywell policies.Functional Leadership.Represent Supply function within the local leadership teams, acting as business partner and assuring alignment of business and functional goals and strategies.Managing and leading the supply function as focal point of contact for the district.Providing leadership and co-ordination for all supply initiatives and supporting teams such as BSC, Category Management, Pay Terms improvement, etc.

Job\nResponsibilities:

Review customer contract terms and conditions and ensure that our subcontractors/suppliers accept the relevant points and ensure full back-to-back coverage with subcontractors/suppliers.Support sourcing negotiations to ensure subcontractor/supplier agrees to acceptable terms.Support the creation of FOA (strategic sourcing agreement) in the post-bid phase.Develop and improve on other sourcing contracting processes as required.Support Sourcing Leaders in any legal post-contract disputes with subcontractors/suppliers.Support our claims processes with subcontractors/suppliers as required, identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.Support the Sourcing Team in bidding processes, especially at complex bidding procedures.Provide timely weekly reports of contract metrics and complex legal issues.

Honeywell offer a hybrid\nsolution of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working; some flexibility\nwould be considered on a case-by-case basis.
