Job Description

Join our client's Global Strategic Sourcing team as a Sourcing Data Analyst, responsible for their department supplier pricing data, purchase price variance reporting, and building Power BI visuals related to supplier pricing health. This is an exciting opportunity to support the reconciliation and maintenance of SAP part pricing data, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data management, and cementing KPI trends via data visualization for the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams. This role will be responsible for mining, verifying, inputting, analyzing, and creating data visuals for large volumes of data, which will directly impact our team’s operational efficiency, cost savings opportunities, and Sourcing flexibility.

ResponsibilitiesPrice Data Maintenance in SAPUpdate Purchase Information Records (PIR) in SAPUpdate SAP Contract pricingUpdate the Source List SAPMaintain accurate records and track progress via JIRA and SAPWork with sensitive data and ensure data integrityCollaborate with the team to improve the SAP data maintenance processPurchase Price Variance (PPV) ReportingUse data visuals to show impactful trendsBreak down impact by Sourcing categoryUse data to detect and drive PPV improvement actionsMaintain an action tracker and status, communicating across the Sourcing teamWork to drive PPV to $0, month over monthData VisualizationLeverage PowerBI to bring existing data to lifePull data from SAP and/or the data lakeCreate data visuals for PPV, Price Health, and Spend Analysis sliced by Category, Category Manager, Global, Regional, and PlantEssential SkillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsProven experience in PowerBIAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStandard cost knowledgePurchase price variance experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SAP is a plusFinance, Sourcing, or Pricing background is a plusWork Environment

Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week. Initially heavy onsite but will transition to Hybrid Flexibility with Monday and Friday remote, and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite. On occasion, some travel to Cranberry Township is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
