Sourcing Manager
Sourcing Manager Job Description As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, leading evaluations and contract negotiations, and collaborating with internal teams to assess vendor capabilities. You will play a crucial role in monitoring post-contract performance and recommending improvements, partnering with IT and Legal teams, and conducting vendor risk reviews. Your strategic oversight will ensure vendor accountability, and you will contribute to building a preferred vendor ecosystem and implementing governance standards. Responsibilities + Manage high-impact vendor relationships with strong communication and issue resolution. + Lead vendor evaluations and contract negotiations to maximize value and performance. + Collaborate with internal experts to assess vendor financials, operations, and delivery capabilities. + Monitor post-contract performance and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights. + Partner with IT and Legal teams to assess risk, ensure compliance, and optimize contract terms. + Conduct vendor risk reviews and support compliance efforts related to third-party oversight. + Help build and maintain a preferred vendor ecosystem to streamline sourcing and pricing strategies. + Define and implement governance standards, performance metrics, and vendor management processes. + Provide strategic oversight and escalation support to ensure vendor accountability. + Develop and deliver training on vendor management best practices. + Mentor junior team members and contribute to long-term sourcing strategies. + Support third-party risk management initiatives across non-vendor engagements. + Track and report on corrective actions for underperforming vendors. Essential Skills + Procurement and supplier negotiation skills. + Contract negotiation and strategic sourcing capabilities. + Supplier management experience. + Expertise in ERP, HCM, licensing negotiations, and system integration. + Project management and vendor management proficiency. + Understanding of legal, compliance, privacy, and security principles. + Ability to redline and negotiate complex contracts. + Excellent project and time management skills. + Analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution capabilities. + Effective communication and influence across multiple levels. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree required. + 7+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, vendor management, or procurement. + Comfortable working in a tech-driven environment with cross-functional teams. + Experience with contract management or third-party risk platforms is a plus. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and e-signature tools. Work Environment This position is onsite in Neenah, WI, with availability for either 20 hours per week or 40 hours per week. The role involves working 60% onsite during the interim period, with a schedule of three days in the office and two days at your discretion. The work environment is tech-driven, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
