Summary

The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for establishing contracts and ensuring the cost-effective supply of all related Load King Aftermarket parts. Additionally, the Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing strategy and investigating across a high portfolio of global suppliers while initiating cross functional projects with the parts team, management, marketing, and purchasing departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Managing the aftermarket sourcing, reviewing, and purchasing strategies.Updating inventory strategies where needed to increase turns and manage stock quantities.Evaluating, selecting, and recommending new vendors to management.Negotiating favorable prices and terms of purchase to maximize best sourcing practices.Building and maintaining good relationships with internal customer base and supply base. Studying sales trends, optimizing MOQ’s between warehouses, and identify and collaborate with sales team on margin improvement opportunities.Identifying and managing all aftermarket sourcing gaps on legacy product and all NPD projects.Resolving vendor disputes, purchase price variances, and maintain system data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, or a similar field.At least four years' experience in supply chain or commodity management.Good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers.Advanced analytical skills.Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with subordinate personnel from various departments.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Exposure to the supply agreement process; writing, negotiating, and working through legal through contracts.Supplier exposure; negotiating, product engineering reviews, supplier visits, etc.Cost reduction: negotiations, back leveraging, resourcing, design, and growthInterpersonal skillsBasic system knowledge - Microsoft Office, Power BI, ERP, and MRPSolid project management skillsMust be willing and able to travel regularly in the US. Travel requirements will be between 5%-15%.

Physical Requirements
