As the Unit Sourcing Manager for our Load & Haul Sourcing team, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing sourcing strategies for our Production Units. What You’ll Do (and Why It’s Important) 

In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee procurement efforts within your assigned Production Unit, ensuring strategies align with both operational and strategic goals. Here's a snapshot of your key responsibilities: 

Leadership & Governance: Lead procurement efforts within a Production Unit, ensuring both short-term and long-term strategic alignment. Drive operational excellence, sourcing efficiency, and the timely execution of initiatives. 

Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with global sourcing managers and internal teams (engineering, production, quality) to create and execute sourcing strategies that drive the division’s growth. 

Supplier Relationships: Build and sustain strong partnerships with key suppliers. Act as a proactive problem solver for supplier-related challenges, ensuring effective issue resolution. 

Project Management: Lead sourcing projects that foster cost optimization, operational efficiencies, and value. Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget, ensuring measurable impact on sourcing goals. 

Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with fellow Unit Sourcing Managers to identify best practices, streamline processes, and enhance sourcing performance across the division. 

What We’re Looking For (and Why You’re a Great Fit) 

We’re seeking a results-driven sourcing leader with expertise in strategic procurement, especially in mechanical engineering or manufacturing. You should excel in negotiation and team collaboration. Here’s what we’re looking for: 

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in strategic sourcing or procurement, ideally in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or related sectors. Proven leadership in navigating complex sourcing challenges. 

Skills: Expertise in negotiation, risk analysis, supplier management, and project management. Ability to assess both technical and commercial aspects of sourcing decisions. 

Education: A degree in Engineering (Master’s or Bachelor’s) or a related field, with a strong foundation in strategic sourcing and procurement. 

Additional Skills: A strong communicator with a solutions-oriented mindset. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and achieving results in a global environment. 

Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus, but not required.
