Sourcing Manager

**The Position**
To implement the sourcing strategy for the local categories in line with the overall BI sourcing strategy to constantly increase productivity, optimize the external global spend, reduce costs.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Implement Global Category Strategy for the region following the centrally stipulated Target Operating Model (TOM) and inform accordingly local Business Partners (BPs).
+ Manage risk exposure. Identify, evaluate, and classify sourcing risks and devise risk mitigation measures.
+ Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.
+ Use Business Review Meeting and KPI leverage to resolve potential issues at an early stage.
+ Manage local Business Partners actively and collaborate in order to align common goals.
+ Coordinate Business Partner demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared, and Business Partner is supported adequately through active engagement.
+ Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities.
+ Building and maintain relationships with both internal Business Partners and external vendors.
+ Adopting and support local organization through implementation of global changes/SOPs
+ Establish and enhance stakeholder engagement to ensure early Purchasing engagement.
+ Leverage sourcing tools (including e or reverse-auction, parallel negotiation etc ...)
+ Maximize usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs)
+ Ensure to be aware of mandatory SOP’s including GxP requirements and be in compliance with.
+ Driving local and regional Purchasing projects to achieve cost savings, vendor consolidation and process improvements.
+ Act at all times within the local pharmaceutical standards/ethics (ABAC)/legal.
+ Report all adverse events to the local PV within the required timelines.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree (or similar degree) in Business Administration, or relevant discipline.
+ 4-6 years of sourcing experience in category management (indirect spend).
+ Pharmaceutical Industry knowledge preferred.
+ Ability to interact in a regional and global organization.
+ Ability to support solutions implementation within a regional and global matrix organization.
+ Ability to understand the region culture and context.
+ Communication, influencing, and presentation skills required.
+ Ensure to be aware of, and in compliance with, mandatory SOP's, including GxP requirements.
