Sourcing Manager - Factory Indirect

The Sourcing Manager for Factory Indirect is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing and procurement activities for various indirect categories, including Capital Equipment, Facility Services, Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO), and other related areas. This role involves developing and driving sourcing strategies, leading supplier relationships, and driving cost savings while ensuring the highest quality of goods and services.
**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:**
+ **Strategic Sourcing:** Develop and implement sourcing strategies for factory indirect categories, including Capital Equipment, Facility Services, MRO, and others. Conduct market analysis and identify potential suppliers.
+ **Supplier Management:** Establish and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts, lead supplier performance, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
+ **Cost Savings:** Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements. Achieve cost reduction targets while maintaining service quality.
+ **Category Management:** Be responsible for the procurement of goods and services in assigned categories. Develop category plans and run the sourcing process from end to end.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Finance, to understand their needs and align sourcing strategies with business objectives. Provide guidance and support on procurement standard processes.
+ **Risk Management:** Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for sourcing activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
+ **Performance Management:** Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sourcing performance. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline procurement processes.
**YOU HAVE:**
+ Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA/Master's degree strongly preferred.
+ Confirmed experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within factory indirect categories.
+ Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ At least 7 years' experience leading projects and teams, ideally in a matrix organization.
+ Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
+ Ideally, certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
+ Ideally, experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

**Pay Transparency**
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
**Compensation Range:**
$123,500.00 - $229,500.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
