Sourcing & Order Acceptance Analyst/ Sr. Analyst - Houston, TX
LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: COMMERCIAL
Key Responsibilities:
Track order progress from order acceptance/order loading up until final delivery/invoice to customer Meet consistently with production planning/mill scheduling teams to track production status for each order and escalate criticalities as needed Coordinate with logistics planning to ensure dispatch plan is in line with production RFS dates as well as meeting needed deliveries based on standard transit times for the defined shipping method Work directly with commercial front end in order to gain insight to future orders/demand. Keep commercial up-to-date with active order status reports Update orders on bi-weekly basis for invoicing forecast updates, highlighting key gains/losses as well as risks/upsides for current invoicing targets Maintain “On Time Delivery” KPI on monthly basis, properly identifying orders that delivered on time and defining specific causes for orders delivered late Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
Requirements (Knowledge/Skills):
Preferred Supply Chain/Engineering Degree Ability to maintain relationships across several departments Strong Analytical background Collaborative and Team Player Excellent problem solving skills Proficient in Excel Familiar with Power BI Reacts well and remains calm in stressful situations Innovative and Critical Thinker Highly Organized Strong in time management and able to multi-task
