As a Sourcing & Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding the planning and procurement of commodities and/or services that have financial impact of the company, while ensuring the best leverage of company dollars. In this role, you will use your knowledge of demand planning techniques, sourcing, and procurement of services and goods while using strong tactical and negotiation skills.
The ideal candidate will have previous Supply Chain experience as well as the ability to interact will all levels of employees, management, external and internal customers. Strong organizational and planning skills are needed in order to maintain accurate and detailed records, prioritize work, multitask and enforce personal deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassesses and prioritize goals.
Your TasksParticipate in procurement, operations, and client meetings (provide details as requested)
Report variances to the Site director
Place purchase orders and combine orders when possible
Participate in vendor and department calls (provide details as requested)
Assist in managing vendor relationships
Reporting
Open order/tracking
Maintain delivery dates
Maintain & review pricing
Review configurations in SAP & Maintain
PECO consumption daily
Proactive work ethic
Inventory management
Annual cost saving project to attain specified goals
Resolve invoice issues via AP workflow in a timely manner
Report issues regarding vendor product quality, dependability, and service issues
Following ISO processes and procedures
Provide Purchasing support for facility
Handle expedite requests, monitor to insure no shortages & that materials are not below minimum safety stock

Computer literacy
High School Diploma with 2 years experience in procurement preferred but not required. Possess strong organizational interpersonal skills. Experience working with Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP and Outlook.
