Sourcing & Procurement Specialist
Responsibilities Manage, implement and facilitate the purchasing process for goods and services for Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and all related organizations. Source and identify qualified suppliers in order to bid specifications that result in supplier selection Initiate contracts, orders, agreements to ensure that Hazelden staff and programs receive goods and services as needed Coordinate and/or assist in the coordination of projects as a representative of the Finance Department to ensure that budget, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation standards and timelines are addressed. Develop and communicate purchasing policy and procedures to internal partners in order to ensure role clarification, sound business practices and financial responsibility. Resolve conflicts and discrepancies regarding product quality, invoices and packing slips in order to maintain positive supplier relationships and ensuring Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s interests are met Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business or six years of related experience 5-6 years directly related experience Preferred Qualifications: Certified Purchasing Professional credential Oracle purchasing module experience Experience in the Health Care industry Contracting experience Overview The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the largest nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States.
