RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Overview

 

As the Sourcing Relations Lead, you will project manage and collaborate closely with Category Management, Sourcing, Procurement, and the Geo Zone teams. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance supplier relationships to optimize sourcing effectiveness and achieve strategic objectives. This role will drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as working capital, cash flow optimization, managed spend, and contract management. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to oversee supplier tiering and various risk management programs aimed at mitigating supply chain risks and maximizing supplier value.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Uphold corporate governance standards, ensuring all activities comply with Company policies, laws, regulations, and industry practices. Ensure safety and service quality are top priorities across all business operations. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supplier relationships and improve supplier performance to align with determined KPI’s. Manage supplier tiering initiatives based on strategic importance, performance, and risk. Implement and communicate supplier risk management programs to identify, assess, and mitigate supplier-related risks. Collaborate with Category Management and Sourcing to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that optimize working capital and cash flow. Analyze and report on key financial metrics including days to pay, managed spend, and savings achieved through collaborative internal meetings. Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs and benchmarks; develop action plans to address performance gaps. Lead cross-functional teams to execute supplier improvement projects and initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all supplier relationships and transactions. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on supplier management best practices and processes. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the sourcing and procurement function.  

QUALIFICATION

 

Experience & Education

Bachelor’s degree: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in supplier tiering and risk management programs is highly desirable. Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite

Preferred

Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or master’s degree Experience in working across various functions, businesses, and regions. Certified Purchasing Professional CPP, CIPS, CSPC or CPM Advanced Excel user
