The overall focus of the role is to manage the complete RFQ/RFP process and to select the most appropriate supplier for the intended scope of work based on Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost parameters and aligned with the global category strategy. **Responsibilities:** + Execute the sourcing events on behalf of the Sites/BU’s as defined by the system workflows in a timely manner. + Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value offering for Flowserve with respect to the scope of work and Site/BU needs; balancing Quality, Delivery and Cost. This includes any specific flowdowns or contractual terms relative to a specific scope. + Where applicable, finalize contractual agreements such as Price Lists or Teaming Agreements per the specific scope of supply and ensure they are loaded appropriately within the applicable tools/ERPs. + Facilitate First Article Approval process managing relationship and planning activities for suppliers and internal stakeholders such as Engineering and Quality. + Comply with the sourcing strategy as set forth by the Global Category Management function; including focusing spend on Partner & Preferred suppliers. + Create and expedite any new supplier requests / supplier changes as required to support the BU operations through the MDG-Supplier process. + Identify any specific supply/supplier risks as it pertains to the managed scope and elevate them through the appropriate process/hierarchy. + Support Commercial Operations for any supply chain quotes required to support tender activities. + Operate in full compliance to all Flowserve Policies & Procedures as applicable to the role.
