What you will do:
Identify, negotiate, communicate with potential suppliers, solicits quotes, technical documentation, and relevant terms and conditionsAcquires standard materials and services from suppliers at the lowest cost, with consideration to quality, reliability and needNegotiates, awards, and implements contracts and purchase ordersCommunicates with field and project personnel, to evaluate compliance with purchase contractsResolves problems regarding material delivery, price discrepancies, quality issues, invoice discrepancies, and/or adjustments Purchase and manage moderately complex agreements for materials, equipment, services, rentals and leasesIdentify, solicit, evaluate, and award bids for supplier quotations, proposals and product descriptionsAnalyze supplier standard item and service proposals for price, performance, capability, quality, delivery, compliance with order terms and consistency with sourcing strategiesSupport identification and implementation of cost improvements for purchased materials and servicesWho you are:
You have:
3+ years of related supply chain experience in addition to a bachelor’s degree. A combination of education and proven related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.You can:
Show knowledge of procurement practices, procedures and policies in addition to having working knowledge of business and contract law Offer accounting principle and financial analysis knowledge in addition to materials and services delivery fulfillment processesYou are:
An excellent written and verbal communicator with effective influencing, persuasion and negotiation and presentation skillsAble to show knowledge of MRP, ERP and purchasing/logistics systems and processesThe following are considered assets:
A Bachelor’s degree within supply chain or business administrationWorking Conditions:

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
