Sourcing Specialist
Job Description Join our clients team as a Sourcing Specialist. The role involves negotiating pricing and terms, understanding indemnifications such as limitation of liability, and a strong grasp of contractual terms. You will support the deal life cycle for Banking and Investments Categories, overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, including contract and price negotiation, and strategic sourcing engagements. Core Responsibilities + Own a pipeline of low and medium complexity sourcing engagements under $250k for assigned category, with potential for higher value engagements based on demand and development. + Support Category Leads on high complexity engagements and assist with requisition and purchase order creation. + Establish effective negotiation plans and guide internal clients through the contracting process. + Partner with Category Leads to establish sourcing execution plans, including competitive bids, evaluation agreements, supplier consolidation, and co-terming. + Effectively collaborate with other Category Teams, Supplier Management, Vendor Management Offices, Internal Clients, and Third-Party Risk Management as needed. Essential Skills + 2 to 5 years of related procurement experience, with a preference for indirect procurement. + Proficiency in procurement, purchasing, and negotiation. + Strong communication skills. + Experience in negotiating pricing and terms, and contract negotiation. + Knowledge of indemnifications and contractual terms. + Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in Oracle. + Strong MS Office skills. + Experience in the banking sector, market data, or investment technology. Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring Tuesday to Thursday on-site in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
