Global Sourcing of chemical raw materials that meets the business needs in terms of cost, quality, service level and minimizing supply risks
Reporting within the Sourcing Team (segment of Global Procurement Organization) to Global Head of Sourcing located in Berlin Germany
Supporting global and regional procurement strategies in collaboration with Head of Sourcing and the Regional Procurement Managers
Working cross functional and in close collaboration with the R&D and RMQ (Raw Material Qualification) teams in Manesar and Berlin
Systematic analysis of global raw material markets, especially for SEA market with focus on defined chemical categories
Good understanding of sustainability and chemical regulatory on an international level regarding required documentations such as SDS, inventory and specifications
Implementation of qualified raw materials in SAP
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the global markets, supply landscape and pricing trends in specific categories
Deliver measurable results and key performance indicators
Skills You Bring:Bachelor degree preferably in chemistry / chemical engineering
Min. 5 years of relevant experience in Chemicals / Pharma / Speciality Chemical manufacturing segment
Excellent communication in English
Team player with ability to work in a matrix organization and in an international team
Related experience in Strategic Chemistry Sourcing including market knowledge
Proficient MS Office applications, specifically in Excel, Power Point, Outlook and SAP knowledge (basic would be good enough)
Willingness to travel time by time for sourcing activities to suppliers and plants
