Position Overview:
The primary role of the Sourcing Specialist is to identify, qualify, and build relationships with new and existing suppliers in order to procure materials and products that support the Seachoice/FulTyme/Yachter’s Choice Brands. Sourcing Specialist’s are required to identify suitable new vendors, quote new and existing business, manage supplier relationships, negotiate costs, and provide cost estimates to Product Managers. The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with the Product Development Team, Rep Agents, Sales, Customer Partners, and many other internal departments to ensure that programs are successful. Sourcing Specialist’s will work closely with Sales and Product Managers to ensure that Seachoice has a favorable cost position and can be priced competitively in the market. (This is not a traditional PO entry, logistics planning, or inventory managing role)

Essential Functions:
Strive to ensure that Seachoice is the lowest cost position in the marketReview all product costs and identify opportunities for cost savings/margin improvementParticipate in the Seachoice Development Process (SDP)Own and manage the RFQ processParticipates in line reviewsUse formal processes and tools to manage costs, risks, and changesManage supplier performance and issues resolutionResponsible for meeting financial targets and driving growthIdentify strategic business partners (vendors/suppliers) to assist the business in efficient execution of product development or resourcing opportunitiesSupport the company's participation in trade shows and other special eventsAll other duties assignedDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
Act as a cost champion for all Seachoice products, throughout the new product development process and product lifecycleDemonstrated team collaboration. Proven track record of working teams directly and indirectly (through collaboration and persuasion) to achieve business growth.Understands product costs and what is needed to ensure profitabilityAbility to identify consumer, customer, product, and industry trends and develop strategies to take advantage of market opportunitiesDemonstrated willingness to challenge the status quo and constructively drive change while fostering teamwork and core enterprise values.Communicate effectively with different levels and functional groups within the organization and external to the organization.Excel in problem solving, innovation, team participation, and self-motivation.Fundamental understanding of operational processes, financial planning, pricing, margins, costs, inventories, and financial statements.Fundamental understanding of the marine and RV industry and a general technical knowledge of parts and accessories.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to travel up to 20%Why Brunswick:
