 Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Sourcing Systems Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Sourcing Systems Specialist is responsible for the development, maintenance, improvement, standardization, and training of specific tools and processes used for supply base analytics, sourcing metrics, and other data requirements. Additionally, the specialist interfaces with IT to drive requirements into Woodward's corporate business systems and supports unique, project-based data requests.

What You Will Be Doing 

Identify business opportunities, conduct analyses, and lead the design of sourcing business systems.Collaborate with users to diagnose problems and take ownership of the development and implementation of specifications for effective and efficient business practices through WISE, SAP, e-business, Power BI, Business Objectives, and third-party solutions.Provide support and testing for multiple software applications and modules.Lead global implementation efforts, including the development of schedules for systems and tools.Serve as the point of contact for IT analysts and developers as the Global Supply Chain process owner and Subject Matter Expert (SME).Network within the industry to stay informed about trends and commercially available technology and products that support strategic directions and plans.Assess internal control structures and ensure compliance for procurement in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.Assign permissions and roles for various business systemsDrive the development of strategic plans for continuous improvement of sourcing systems related to analytics and efficiency.Support the development and management of metrics for the sourcing systems group.Provide training to members in Woodward data and reporting toolsParticipation in the development of strategic plans for continuous improvement of sourcing systems as it relates to analytics and efficiencyUndertake special projects as necessary.Provide support for the business segment supply chain team special data needs.Manage data integration activities resulting from mergers and acquisitions (M&A).Participate in technical or business-related reviewsTrain supply chain members in Woodward data and reporting tools

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Comprehensive understanding of business systems and manufacturing environments.Expertise in database structures and software concepts.Proficiency in project management.Effective time management skills.Training skills applicable from novice to expert levels.Ability to multitask in a complex environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.In-depth knowledge of sourcing systems.Service-oriented mindset.Capability to work remotely and across multiple time zones.Effective presentation and communication skills to convey results to diverse audiences with varying backgrounds and technical skills.

What We Are Looking For 

A bachelor's degree in arts, sciences (BA/BS), administration, information systems, or computer science from a U.S. institution is required.2-5 years of experience in a systems or development environment. (Required)2-5 years of project management experience leading projects. (Required)Nintex, K2, and Power Automate Workflow tools. (Required)Power BI, including dataflows, semantic models, report creation, and workspace management. (Required)Understanding of Database and data warehouse architecture. (Required)Coding, including SQL, M-Code, VB, Dax, and Python is a plus.
