THE JOB:
The Restaurant Executive Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team to achieve operational and financial goals, manage inventory and supplies, oversee staff performance and training, uphold MGM service standards, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, budgeting, labor, scheduling, inventory, guest service, and menu execution to drive profitability.
Implement policies, training, and compliance programs while maintaining top health and sanitation standards.
Support HR functions, including hiring, training, performance management, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and collaborate with the service team for seamless dining experiences.
Maintain strong knowledge of the venue’s food, beverage offerings, and equipment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Lead, guide, and inspire our culinary team to create extraordinary Steakhouse experiences. Your keen eye for detail will ensure seamless kitchen operations and top-notch service.
Streamline kitchen processes to perfection. From ingredient prep to final presentation, your organizational skills will elevate our Steakhouse offerings to new heights.
Bring at least two (2) years of kitchen management experience to the table. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative and productive kitchen environment.
Thrive in high-volume and mass production settings. Your culinary prowess will shine as you orchestrate the creation of delectable dishes at scale without compromising quality.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of health and safety codes. Your commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen will set the standard for our team
Has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
Has previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant
